Pan-European Seal Professional Traineeship Programme
The University of Milan joined the Pan-European Seal (PES) Professional Traineeship Programme, an internship scheme promoted by two European bodies committed to raising awareness on the topics of intellectual property and patents: EUIPO, the European Union Intellectual Property Office and EPO, the European Patent Office.
More than 100 universities from all over Europe have already joined the initiative.
The programme is open to young and motivated recent graduates in different fields: sciences, languages, humanities, law, computer science, economy and politics. No background knowledge of the working topics of the two bodies is required.
Paid internships will start in September 2024 at the EPO and EUIPO international locations, with a minimum duration of 12 months.
Interested graduates can apply until 23 February 20234, sending an email to the Internship office and attaching the required documents.
Candidates may apply to either the EPO or the EUIPO. Applications to both bodies will be automatically rejected.
At the end of the pre-selection stage, the Internship office will send a shortlist of candidates to each body.
Subsequently, shortlisted candidates will have to submit their applications by the notified deadline via the online procedure set up by both bodies. Failure to do so will result in the candidate being excluded from the selection process.
For further details on the two bodies and the application requirements, please check the information set out below and the EPO and EUIPO communication channels.
