Project Ulysses – University and the corporate world for a strategic development of education
The Ulysses project was launched in close cooperation with Assolombarda to strengthen the relationship between universities and the corporate world, through work-based learning programmes recognized in the academic field.
The first initiative involved the Bachelor's degree programme in Computer Science of the University of Milan, with a long placement period starting from the second year, which is recognized as an alternative to some parts of the programme laboratories.
In academic year 2019/20, the Ulysses project is also available for the Bachelor's degree programme in Economics and Management (EMA), with financial statement analysis laboratories and exercises in Assolombarda member companies, starting from the first year.
At the end of the project, the company can hire the student / graduand, also through an advanced level apprenticeship contract (Apprendistato in Alta Formazione).
