Curricular internships at the Commissione Territoriale per il riconoscimento della protezione internazionale (local authority for asylum seekers) – Milan office
The Milan office of the Commissione Territoriale per il riconoscimento della protezione internazionale (local authority for asylum seekers) offers curricular internships to students of the University of Milan who meet specific requirements.
Interns will gain in-depth knowledge of complex issues such as immigration and the right to asylum.
At least 4 posts are available per semester.
The internship will last at least 3 months, with 4-hours' work per day. The start date of the internship will be notified by the local authority following a selection interview. Any preferences and needs regarding start dates may be submitted to the local authority.
Upcoming graduates may write their thesis on the internship.
Internships will take place during specific periods of the year and applications must comply with specific deadlines:

- Italian citizenship;
- Average exam grade higher than 25/30;
- Being regularly enrolled in one of the following study programmes and meet the relevant specific requirements, as shown in the table:

- Send an email for the attention of the designated instructor for your degree programme (as shown in the table above) within the deadline, with the following attachments:
- CV;
- a screenshot from Unimia showing your academic records (list of exams and average grade);
- any other documents required by the study programme.
The text of the email must describe in detail the reasons for which you are applying.
- Candidates will be selected based on merit, motivation and consistency of their academic path with this opportunity.
- The designated instructors will communicate to the local authority the names of eligible students.
- The local authority will interview eligible candidates to select the winners. The curricular internship will be set up following the standard COSP procedure.
- Only winning students will be notified within 15 days of the start of the internship.
