Il corso di laurea magistrale in Scienze e Tecnologie delle Produzioni Animali ha come obiettivo formare professionisti
dotati di una solida preparazione tecnico-scientifica e di avanzate capacità esecutive che permettono loro di operare
nei processi produttivi delle imprese del settore agro-zootecnico. Tra questi processi produttivi sono inclusi quelli
legati alle tecnologie di allevamento, alla genetica e all'alimentazione animale, all'industria di trasformazione dei
prodotti di origine animale, ai sistemi zootecnici e faunistici, alla biosicurezza degli allevamenti, sia in funzione
del benessere degli animali che nel rispetto dell?ambiente, anche a tutela della salute dell'uomo.
In particolare, i laureati in Scienze e Tecnologie delle Produzioni Animali devono essere in grado di:
- Pianificare e gestire i sistemi di allevamento e di produzione degli alimenti di origine animale anche attraverso
l?utilizzo delle tecnologie digitali, informatiche, biotecnologiche innovative e di strumenti di gestione basati sulla
zootecnia di precisione e sull?intelligenza artificiale oggi disponibili nel settore agro-zootecnico.
-Saper coniugare le metodologie di campo con le tecniche e metodiche di laboratorio per poter applicare processi
innovativi nella produzione, nel controllo di qualità, nella valorizzazione economica e commercializzazione dei
prodotti di origine animale, e degli alimenti per animali.
- Pianificare e gestire sistemi meccanizzati e automatizzati in contesti produttivi agro-zootecnici e applicare le
tecnologie energetiche rinnovabili ed eco-sostenibili ai sistemi agro-zootecnici;
- Organizzare, sviluppare e gestire l'alimentazione degli animali da reddito in funzione della salute degli animali, della
qualità degli alimenti e della salute dell'uomo;
- Gestire le interazioni tra attività zootecniche, fauna selvatica ed ambiente al fine di pianificare un uso integrato e
sostenibile delle risorse territoriali;
- Progettare e pianificare la gestione genetica delle popolazioni zootecniche per il miglioramento delle produzioni e
per il mantenimento della biodiversità delle risorse genetiche disponibili;
- Valutare nuovi modelli di business in un'ottica manageriale ed estimativa per lo sviluppo competitivo del settore
zootecnico;
- Applicare misure di biosicurezza per prevenire l'introduzione o limitare la diffusione delle malattie infettive e
diffusive nelle popolazioni animali, domestiche e selvatiche;
- Applicare le tecnologie di trasformazione e la normativa in vigore garantendo la qualità, la sicurezza e la salubrità
degli alimenti di origine animale
Tra le attività che i laureati magistrali svolgeranno con funzione di elevata responsabilità e coordinamento, si indicano
in particolare:
- la gestione dei sistemi zootecnici: negli allevamenti zootecnici intensivi delle specie da reddito, nelle associazioni
di razza e di categoria;
- le attività professionali e di progetto nell?ambito della nutrizione e alimentazione animale: negli allevamenti
zootecnici e nelle industrie mangimistiche;
- le attività professionali nel settore del miglioramento genetico animale e nella gestione delle risorse genetiche
animali;
- le attività economico-gestionali negli ambiti della produzione, trasformazione e commercializzazione degli alimenti
di origine animale: nelle industrie agro-alimentari e nelle imprese della grande distribuzione organizzata;
- la gestione della biosicurezza della filiera zootecnica: negli allevamenti zootecnici intensivi ed estensivi;
- pianificazione e gestione della meccanizzazione e automazione delle aziende zootecniche;
- controllo e gestione dei processi produttivi mediante tecnologie di zootecnia di precisione;
- la gestione e la conservazione dei sistemi zootecnici estensivi e faunistici: in contesti territoriali, d?interesse pubblico
e privato, nei quali è necessario sviluppare un?adeguata integrazione tra la gestione del patrimonio zootecnico e
quello faunistico, allevato o a vita libera;
- la ricerca scientifica nelle Università italiane o straniere, in enti di ricerca pubblici e privati e nell?industria.

Requisiti e conoscenze richieste per l'accesso
Possono accedere al Corso di laurea Magistrale in Scienze e Tecnologie delle Produzioni Animali i laureati nelle classi L-38, L-13, L-25, L-26, L-2, L-32, nonché nelle corrispondenti classi relative al D.M. 509/99.
Per l'ammissione i laureati devono aver acquisito almeno 60 CFU in SSD riguardanti le discipline:
biochimica (BIO/10, BIO/12), economia ed estimo rurale (AGR/01), agronomia e coltivazioni erbacee (AGR/02), genetica agraria e zootecnica generale e miglioramento genetico (AGR/07, AGR/17), idraulica agraria (AGR/08), entomologia (AGR/11), chimica agraria (AGR/13), scienze tecnologie alimentari (AGR/15), microbiologia agraria (AGR/16), meccanica agraria e costruzioni rurali (AGR/09, AGR/10), alimentazione animale, zootecnica speciale e zoocolture (AGR/18, AGR/19, AGR/20), morfo-fisiologia veterinaria (VET/01, VET/02), patologia generale veterinaria (VET/03), ispezione degli alimenti di origine animale (VET/04), malattie infettive degli animali (VET/05),
parassitologia e malattie parassitarie (VET/06), farmacologia e tossicologia veterinaria (VET/07), riproduzione animale (VET/10), informatica (INF/01), statistica (SECS-S/01).

Modalità di verifica delle conoscenze e della preparazione personale
Tutti candidati esterni dovranno presentare autocertificazione della carriera con il dettaglio degli insegnamenti e SSD della carriera universitaria pregressa, incluse le votazioni dei singoli esami superati.
I requisiti curriculari di cui ai punti precedenti unitamente alle singole votazioni ottenute nella carriera pregressa saranno valutati dalla apposita Commissione nominata dal Collegio Didattico. Qualora la commissione ne ravvisi la necessità i candidati potranno essere chiamati a sostenere un colloquio volto a verificare l'adeguatezza della loro preparazione personale con riferimento alle conoscenze e competenze relative alle scienze zootecniche e tecnologie animali, idonee per poter accedere al corso di laurea magistrale.

The tuition fees for students enrolled in Bachelor's, Master's and single-cycle degree programmes are divided into two instalments with different calculation methods and payment schedules:

  • The amount of the first instalment is the same for all students
  • The amount of the second instalment varies according to the ISEE University value, the degree programme and the student status (on track / off track for one year or off track for more than a year) 
  • An additional fee is due for online programmes

The University also offers:

  • Concessions for students meeting high merit requirements
  • Diversified tuition fees according to the student's home country for international students with assets/income abroad
  • Concessions for international students with refugee status
