University Disability Network
The University of Milan established the Disability Network as an operational tool to coordinate interventions, actions and capacities aimed at removing barriers to active participation in university life for people with disabilities and specific learning disorders.
The Network is chaired by Rector Marina Brambilla and contributes to achieving one of the cross-cutting goals set out in the University Strategic Plan 2025-2030: supporting people with disabilities, to reduce inequalities and ensure the right to higher education and inclusion for all those who have chosen to study or work at the University of Milan.
Among the first objectives of the Network is the approval of a Disability Action Plan by 31 December 2026. Subsequently, the Network will focus on designing and implementing targeted interventions for students and staff with disabilities, as well as measures to improve the accessibility and safety of University facilities.
