Doctoral Students' Council

The Doctoral Students' Council is the highest representative body of PhD students at the University level. It:

  • promotes and coordinates the participation of doctoral students in the university organization
  • advises the governing bodies of the University
  • submits proposals on matters exclusively or mainly concerning doctoral students.

The proposals put forward by the Doctoral Students' Council are submitted to the governing bodies of the University for assessment within their respective competencies.
In particular, the Council expresses non-binding opinions on:

  • changes to the University Regulations for PhD programmes;
  • the organization and management of doctoral programmes by the University;
  • the discipline of teaching and scientific activities addressed to PhD students;
  • the operation of individual doctoral programmes.

Within the Doctoral Students' Council are established the following delegations, to which PhD students can refer directly to the relevant issues, in addition to the usual reference of the institutional e-mail address [email protected]:

  • internationalization
  • institutional relations
  • teaching and cross-skills
