Obiettivi formativi
The objective of teaching "Automatic feeding systems for cattle" is to provide students with knowledge on the main automatic feeding systems for cattle.

1. Knowledge and understanding: at the end of the course the student will have to know the operating principle and the logic that governs automatic feeding systems for cattle.
2. Applied knowledge and understanding: The student will have to demonstrate knowledge and skills useful for implementing and managing an automatic feeding system for cattle.
3. Express judgments: the student must demonstrate the ability to critically present the information acquired. Technical visits will be organized to cattle farms that use automatic feeding systems to highlight the differences and similarities between the different technological solutions.
4. Communication: the student must use scientifically appropriate language, with particular attention to the terminology used to describe the technical and managerial aspects of automatic feeding systems for cattle. Technical visits aim to stimulate the ability to acquire specific terminology and to discuss scientifically with colleagues.
5. Lifelong learning skills: the student must demonstrate the ability to use the knowledge acquired to interpret new scenarios resulting from the adoption of automatic feeding systems for cattle.
