Analysis of cosmetic ingredients and products

The learning objectives of this course are: acquisition of fundamental knowledge of instrumental analytical techniques used in the cosmetic area; acquisition of the ability to select analytical methods, present in EU cosmetic directive, to characterize raw materials and products; acquisition of the ability to comprehensive and critic interpretation of cosmetic ingredient and product analytical data sheets; acquisition of interpretation of raw material analytical profiles, following REACH EU regulation.

The learning outcomes of this course are: the knowledge of instrumental analytical techniques used in the cosmetic area; the ability to discriminate the most suitable analytical methods, present in EU cosmetic directive, to characterize raw materials and products; the ability to interpret of analytical data sheets of cosmetic ingredients and products; the ability to select raw materials on the base of analytical profiles, following REACH EU regulation.
