Society and territory

Objectives

The Society and territory working group addresses the social aspects of sustainability and supports concrete projects to raise awareness, favour inclusion, and promote sustainable lifestyles. It handles internal and external communication on projects with methods including awareness campaigns, networking, and collaborations.

Activities

  • Inform, sensitize, educate, and engage
  • boost awareness of the principles of environmental and social sustainability in all University processes, functions, and activities.
  • favour awareness and education processes on sustainability themes.
  • spur the creation of networks and the involvement of internal and external actors, starting with University education and research.
  • promote collaborations with local organizations to implement social cohesion and inclusion actions.
  • promote sustainable lifestyles and the informed choice of goods and services with relatively low environmental impact.
  • promote inclusion and social justice
  • develop projects and services characterized by gender equality, right to education, accessibility, preventive medicine.
