Transferring to a medical specialisation programme from another university
To apply to transfer from a different university to one of the University of Milan’s Postgraduate schools, students must:
- have passed the official exam to move into the next year
- request authorisation for the transfer from the Student Administration Office of the Postgraduate schools of the University of Milan using the appropriate transfer form, attaching the authorisation from the university of origin.
The School Council evaluates the transfer request and decides whether to grant the authorisation, which the student will receive from the Student Administration Office in order to be able to attach it to the transfer request form which they will submit to the university of origin.
Once the necessary documents have been received from the university of origin, the student will be contacted by the Student Administration Office of the Postgraduate schools to complete their enrolment.
To enrol, the student must present the enrolment form along with the following:
- receipt for payment of 75 euros (transfer fee)
- receipt for payment of the first instalment
- a passport style photograph
- a photocopy of a valid identity document
- a copy of the electronic booklet (all previous activities must be uploaded in the Unimi E-booklet through the "Previous acrivities" function and validated by the Director of the school)
Deadlines
- enrolled Academic Year 2019/2020 (4 year): from 1 to 26 December 2024 (for transfer to fifth year)
- enrolled Academic Year 2020/2021 (3 year): from 15 September to 17 October 2024 (for transfer to fourth year)
- enrolled Academic Year 2021/2022 (2 year): from 15 September to 17 October 2024 (for transfer to third year)
- enrolled Academic Year 2022/2023 (1 year): from 15 September to 17 October 2024 (for transfer to second year)
