Suspension of medical postgraduate school studies

Students enrolled in postgraduate schools in a field of medicine can suspend their studies for maternity reasons.

In order to apply for suspension it is necessary to hand in the appropriate form accompanied by the medical certificate stating the expected delivery date at the Student Administration Office of the Postgraduate schools, and contact the Occupational Health and Safety Office (located in Via S. Sofia 9/1).

Students enrolled in medical postgraduate schools can suspend their studies for reasons of pregnancy or illness.

Suspension does not in any way reduce the overall duration of the specialisation programme.

To apply for suspension, students should take the suspension request form to the Salary Division (located in Via S. Antonio 10/12) accompanied by the certificate stating the reason for the request.
