Learning objectives
The aim of this course is acquired the prevalent psychic functions and psychopathology related during the lifespan from childhood to adulthood will need to be learned, knowing the general guidelines of the prevalent psychotherapies.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student must:
· Main psychic functions and psychopathology related will need to be learned and well defined
· Know the main categories of psychiatric nosography by defining the most frequent syndromes
· Distinguish the psychic disorder due to the organic diseases from actual and proper psychiatric disorders
· Ability to draw from the medical records the main information relating to the psychiatric clinical conditions
· identifying physiological and pathological forms typical of early evolutionary phases, highlighting differences and similarities with the disorders of adulthood
· Know the clinical pictures of the most common forms of psychiatric disorders: psychological functions and their psychopathological alterations; main categories of psychiatric pathology; psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety; hints about somatoform disorders and dissociative disorders; eating disorders; personality disorders; syndromes and organic mental disorders which may occur from childhood to adulthood

· Know the main psychiatric drugs guidelines
