Learning objectives
Starting from the yoga tradition and its proposal of mind-strengthening practices (breathing, relaxation, concentration), the course aims to provide the theoretical foundations and practical skills relating to the main forms of meditation, with reference to the context historical-cultural, basic neuroscientific evidence, inclusion in sports training programs and the promotion of health and well-being in the daily lifestyle.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will acquire technical knowledge of meditative practice (main positions and sequences of preparatory and post-practice movements, breathing, concentration and relaxation techniques), understanding the benefits of its inclusion in programs of physical and sporting activities aimed at everyone, including bands of the less sporty and sedentary population
