Learning objectives
The student must know the most relevant diseases of the various organisms and apparatuses under the nosological, epidemiological, aetiological-pathogenetic and clinical profile, remembering that the ear is a sensor of systemic pathology.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student must have acquired the scientific knowledge, methodology and theoretical-practical preparation necessary for a correct approach to the patient.
Clinical interpretation of symptoms and signs of disease and of diagnostic, laboratory and instrumental tests and at the stage of diagnostic formulation and clinical decision making. The student is trained to complete the information deduced from the anamnesis and the objective picture, to interpret also in a physiopathological key the laboratory and instrumental findings of the single pathologies and to set the clinical-diagnostic reasoning that leads to the diagnosis.

A basic knowledge of physiology, biochemistry and general pathology are required in order to understand, from an etiopathogenic and diagnostic point of view, some of the most relevant organ pathologies that may have also systemic manifestations.
