Learning objectives
The objectives of the course are to provide the basic knowledge related to alternative, innovative and unconventional feed such as insects, ex-foods, single cell proteins and algae that can be used in animal feed also in the new contexts of circular economy and sustainability
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will have acquired the basic knowledge of these new types of feed in terms of nutritional characteristics and context of use.

The course is organized as follows:
FRONTAL LESSONS, with the aid of slides, videos, seminars (also by external or foreign professors and experts)
