Learning objectives
The course aims to offer intellectual elements about the history of women and gender identity in Europe from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the Student will have acquired a general framework regarding the development of the status of women in Europe from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. The Student will also be able to place the turning in their chronological, territorial and social contexts. The Student will be able to use a specific lexicon and to express in a clear and effective form specific concepts of the discipline.

Mastery of the spoken, read and written Italian language.
Knowledge of Early-modern history, Modern history and 19th century history, at least in their general topics.

1) This syllabus is valid from May 2022 to January-February 2023.
Therefore, for the exam December 2021 and January/February 2022, students will have to prepare the program for the academic year 2020-21. The academic year program 2020-21 is published online by the University offices and on Ariel.

- Type of examination: written test with multiple choice questions, in Italian, on the computer (45 minutes).
-Evaluation criteria: ability to demonstrate and process knowledge.
- Type of evaluation method: mark in 30s.

The student must submit to the examination with:
1) valid identification document within the borders of the Italian Republic;
2) university badge;
3) e-mail address assigned by the University and password (the password must be less than 14 characters. If the student usually uses a password of 14 or more characters, she/he must change the password before
attending the exam. The new password must be less than 14 characters. Before the exam the student must verify that the new password is active).


The format of the exam for students with disabilities should be arranged in advance with the professor, as well as the relevant office.
