Learning objectives
The economic and financial crisis, both international and national, and the european banking unification brought radical improvements for banks on the regulatory, strategical and business model levels.
The objective of the course is to analyse the theorical terms of reference for the banking management in the present-day regulatory, environmental and business context. It will be explored in particular the business model based on the classic brokering aimed to financing for enterprises.

Expected learning outcomes
Analytical skills and ability to evaluate the specificity of the banking sector as compared to the industrial enterprises and service companies; understanding of the role of the banks in the economy both in terms of transmission channel for encouraging saving and of the monetary policy; understanding of the managerial environment the rules laid down under national and Union regulation.
