Faculty development and innovation in teaching and learning

In line with its Strategic Plan, the University of Milan has launched initiatives to enhance teaching skills.

We especially want to provide those faculty members who are at the beginning of their academic career with tools and methodological support regarding teaching and learning dynamics.

The key themes of teaching development involve not only faculty, but the entire academic community, and include: training on Quality Assurance issues; the use of distance learning platforms; a push for an international approach favouring the widespread use of English.

Following the health emergency in 2020, we have made an all-out effort to accompany and support our faculty members in designing and delivering distance or blended learning courses.
