The course aims at analyzing the current issues related to the "first-generation" fundamental rights, on which the Liberal state was founded: individual rights (personal liberty, liberty of personal domicile, freedom of communication, freedom of speech, right to vote) and collective rights (freedom of assembly and association), which characterized the first period of constitutionalism. The aim is to go to the roots of constitutionalism, examining the current relationship between the individual and the State.
Mandatory for 40 cycle doctoral students , optional for other doctoral students
