The first part of the course, oriented from a legal-philosophical perspective, aims first of all to provide doctoral students with some general theoretical tools, in relation to the legal categories of specificity/generality/exceptionality. The second part will instead be aimed at relating these categories to some of the current problems and trends in ecclesiastical law and the relationships between state law and religious laws.
