The course is focused on Big Data and their applications in the medical field. It will be explained what personalized medicine is and in which areas the help of bioinformatics and biostatistics is important to interpret enormous amounts of information deriving from patients, correctly and usefully from a diagnostic and therapeutic point of view. The principles of artificial intelligence and its main applications in the medical field will also be given.
