Lead instructor: Maria Cristina Brancaglion
This cycle of lectures is aimed at exploring the multilingual dimension of contemporary society, which is characterised, today as yesterday, by a marked propensity of individuals for mobility and thus increasingly open to multiple opportunities for linguistic and cultural enrichment. The contacts between languages can be explored in different areas and from different perspectives: lexicological/lexicographic analysis, linguistic attitudes and representations, the study of bi/pluri-lingual situations, etc. Each session will be an opportunity for methodological analysis in order to prompt an overall reflection on the different approaches to language studies.
