The aim of the course is to provide scientific bases for therapeutic approaches to food-related diseases with suitable dietetic solutions (food allergies and intolerances, celiac disease). Quality and safety aspects of special foods (enriched foods, functional foods, food supplements, novel foods). Furthermore, the aspect of possible interactions between food supplements containing botanicals and drugs/nutrients will be addressed.
