Learning objectives
The educational objective of the course is to provide students the knowledge of the domestication process of major species of livestock interest and the morpho-functional evaluation techniques adopted in the evaluation of major cattle breeds.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will have acquired the skills necessary to be able to plan, execute and evaluate a morpho-functional evaluation process that integrates with modern genetic evaluation approaches. In addition, students will also have the skills necessary to be able to assist breeders in selecting individuals used as reproducers.
