Learning objectives
The course provides knowledge of the cultural and civic aims of history and that of the main tools (cultural, technical, research, methodology) for education in the field of history.
Expected learning outcomes
The course is aimed at making students aware of the themes and problems related to the teaching of history and its cultural and civic aims, the genres of historiography, the public use of history, source documents and their interpretation, educational tools and new technologies. Acquiring the ability to critically assess sources and teaching materials available to the school will enable the student to effectively formulate educational designs with an open mind towards multidisciplinary integration.
