Learning objectives
The course is the intermediate moment of learning/acquisition of the Spanish language as part of the three-year study of the foreign language. Theoretically, it introduces the linguistic analysis in Spanish, at the phrasal level and at the textual level. On a practical level, the aim is to lead students to the acquisition of communicative skills suitable for reading literary texts and for short oral and written productions in daily life, corresponding to level B1 of the CEFR.
Expected learning outcomes
The expected outcomes in terms of knowledge and understanding are for the student to understand the mechanisms of Spanish syntax and text grammar, to learn the theoretical concepts of Spanish phraseology, and to be able to identify phraseological units, features, and functions within real written and oral contexts. The expected outcomes in terms of applied skills are the student's ability to assimilate the basic concepts of syntax and phraseology, be able to recognize and apply them appropriately in written and oral production. In addition, B1 level is expected for all language activities: reception (listening and reading), text production, presentations and oral interactions.
