Learning objectives
The teaching aims to deepen the understanding of chronic degenerative cardiovascular diseases and endocrine-metabolic disorders, with a particular focus on therapeutic approaches and the ability to promptly recognize conditions requiring diagnostic evaluation by general practitioners or specialists. The educational objective is to equip students with the necessary skills to identify early clinical signs indicative of specific pathologies, guiding appropriate therapeutic interventions or further diagnostic investigations.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to thoroughly describe the main chronic degenerative cardiovascular and endocrine-metabolic diseases, demonstrating knowledge of the guidelines and therapeutic protocols for their management, as well as the ability to identify early clinical signs. Furthermore, the student will be able to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals, fostering greater patient awareness of the importance of a preventive and proactive approach.
