Nanotechnology for Advanced Materials
A.Y. 2025/2026
Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the student with the main technologies able to manipulate the matter at the atomic scale. Industrial and lab scale nano-material will be reviewed differentiating materials with nano-dimension to ones with a nano-structure. Synthetic approaches and main characterization techniques will be objectives of discussion for the application of materials.
Expected learning outcomes
Recognize a nanostructured materials. To manage different synthetic approaches in order to control a material structure (main nanotechnology approaches). Be able to differentiate a lab-scale from an industrial method for controlling the structural properties of a material. Chemical and physical characterization of nanostructured materials
