Mathematics Ii
A.Y. 2025/2026
Learning objectives
The course is designed to rigorously introduce the basic language of Mathematical Analysis in order to provide the necessary tools to tackle and solve both theoretical and applied problems, which are essential for successfully attending a university undergraduate program in a scientific area.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student must demonstrate a sufficient understanding of basic mathematical analysis, from the behavior of elementary functions to the qualitative study of general functions of a single variable. Additionally, students are expected to deepen their knowledge of results concerning continuity, differential and integral calculus for functions of a real variable. One of the main skills to be assessed is the ability to apply theoretical results to solve problems and exercises related to the specific topics of the course.
