Learning objectives
To understand the characteristics and technical requirements of buildings supporting livestock housing, with particular reference to milking parlors and storage facilities for forage and livestock feed.
Understand the criteria and design elements related to construction and plant engineering necessary for the management of agricultural waste, with specific emphasis on the management of livestock effluents to protect the environment and the technologies and processes for their treatment and agronomic valorization.
