In this course the basics aspects of supersymmetry and string theory are introduced.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to have the following skills:
1.Knowledge of the concepts of superspace and the supersymemtry variations
2.Knowledge of the chiral and the vector multiplet in 4 dimensions
3.Knowledge of the non-renormalization theorems
4.Knowledge of the Witten index
5.Knowledge of the Nambu-Goto action
6.Knowledge of the Virasoro operators
7.Knowledge of the quantization of the open and close bosonic
