Learning objectives
The course is the first step in French language learning and acquisition as part of the three-year language study programme and is aimed at students of all levels: from beginners to advanced. At a theoretical level, the study of the relationship between oral and written code is proposed through phonemes and graphemes and the study of morphosyntaxis and phrase in contrasting optics with Italian. At a practical level, the development of reception, production, interaction and mediation is proposed at different levels, corresponding to CEFR levels A1, A2 and B1.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding: knowledge of the phonetic system, its representation in API, spelling correspondence, knowledge of contrastive analysis applied to morphosyntax, knowledge of the basic vocabulary (1500/2000 words), knowledge of the self-assessment grid of one's language level according to the CEFR. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: achievement of B1 level not yet complete for all linguistic-communicative activities: reception (listening and reading), production (short exposés on the topics studied, writing under dictation and short texts), interaction (exchanges limited to the topics studied) and mediation (short presentations of a text) and development of the related strategies. Linguistic analysis of written and oral code, morphosyntax, sentence and text.
