Teaching methods
TRAINING METHODOLOGY
Part 1 Optimization of the study of the sectorial lexicon
The presentation of the lexicon is based on the criterion of formation of verbs, adjectives and nouns on the one hand and the comparison between terms with the same and similar meanings on the other. This together with the exercises allows you to expand the amount of vocabulary and optimize its memorization. The translation skill is exercised both with the use of post editing and paper and online dictionaries.
Part 2 Oral mediation
The required skills will be developed through targeted exercises based on listening and comprehension exercises, memorization, taking notes and rendering in the target language. The topics proposed for the exercises are: economic news, corporate documents, international cooperation. The morphosyntactic and lexical complexity of the proposed texts will be graduated to allow the progressive development of oral rendering skills.
Part 3 Activities of the exporting company
Translation skills will be achieved thanks to exercises in visual translation and written translation in both directions of various types of corporate documents.
Part 4 Lexicon of the economic emergency and international cooperation
The knowledge of the subject and the linguistic skills of comprehension and translation will be achieved through the viewing, comprehension, transcription, and oral translation of videos in which Russian economists, sociologists and politicians are interviewed who focus on the economic and social problems of the current situation.
