Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the know-how needed: i) to analyze
the possibilities that renewable energy sources (RES) can play in
mountain agriculture , ii) to improve the energetic efficiencies in
agricultural systems.
Expected learning outcomes
The course provides the basis for the proper classification of the
different biomass-to-energy supply chains and for evaluating the
technical and economic sustainability about the energy generation
(thermal, mechanical, electrical) by plants fed with biomass.
Single course

This course can be attended as a single course.

Prerequisites for admission
Knowledge about energy, agricultural mechanisation, farm plants are useful for students interested to the course.
Teaching methods
The course lasts 32 hours and follows the timetable established by the Didactic Secretariat for the Degree Course. The total 4 ECTS are composed of Frontal Lessons only.
The teaching is provided through the projection of slides.
Teaching Resources
The material used during the course (lectures), presentations for the deepening of some topics, Tables and tecnical documents are available in .pdf format on the University teaching application.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam is written.
The evaluation criteria aim to verify - through a series of questions on the different topics - the degree of overall knowledge acquired by the student. The evaluation, related to the entire course, is carried out in thirtieths.
Students with SLD or disability certifications are kindly requested to contact the teacher at least 15 days before the date of the exam session to agree on individual exam requirements. In the email please make sure to add in cc the competent offices: [email protected] (for students with SLD) or [email protected] (for students with disability)
