Prerequisites for admission
The prerequisites consist of physiology, anatomical, histological, biochemical and biological knowledge that are study subject of the first year of the course.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The examination consists of a written test with multiple choice questions aimed at assessing the student's knowledge of the different topics covered.
The evaluation is expressed in thirtieths and the result is communicated after the conclusion of the test.

The student at the end of the clinical pathology course will be able to:
- describe the basic concepts of laboratory medicine;
- identify the main biomarkers of health and disease status;
- classify the different organ biomarkers;
- critically interpret the laboratory data.
