· Medical specialties and body systems (Cardiology, Pulmonology, Othopedics et al.)
· Other medical specialties (Psychiatry, Oncology, et al.)
The course consists of twenty hours of language practice sessions and self-study on the online learning platform.
Group work, role-playing and other practical activities will take place during the language practice sessions.
Attendance: compulsory

Prerequisites for admission
Students must have demonstrated a minimum English proficiency at level B2 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in order to be admitted to this course.

Assessment methods and Criteria
To be admitted to the end of course test, students must have attended at least 75% of the language practice sessions and have done at least 75% of the exercises on the online learning platform, whereas non-attending students must have completed all the online activities (100%).
The test will be delivered in a computer room a week after the end of the course. Students will be tested on the medical terminology studied through the online platform.
Students who fail the final test can resit up to five times within their academic career.
Students with disabilities and/or with SLDs are entitled to extra time of 50% and 30% respectively. Students must promptly communicate their condition to the University Language through the Infostudenti Service, by selecting the SLAM category.
