The course aims at providing a theoretical and practical overview of the main laws essential to allow any legal practitioner an efficient management of the workers both at the individual and collective levels.

The course aims at providing students with an overview of the main institutes pertaining to both the employment and trade union law through a theoretical-practical approach.
Prerequisites for admission
A basic knowledge of labour law is essential to attend the course.
Teaching methods
The teaching will be delivered through frontal lessons (supported by slides downloadable from ARIEL) in which a constant interaction with the students will be required.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The expected learning outcomes will be ascertained through a written exam, at the end of the course, which will tend to verify the student's ability to apply the knowledge acquired in class.
To pass the exam an assessment of at least 18/30 is required.
The final grade may be refused by the students who will be allowed to resit the exam (pay attention: the second time it would be an oral examination).
The evaluation criteria will be related to the student's ability in re-elaborating the notions acquired.
