Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with general knowledge about the main health risks, on how to identify potentially harmful lifestyle habits based on epidemiological data, design and implement health education interventions. It also aims to know and prevent the main risks in the work environment, improve clinical management skills of intrahospital emergency.
Expected learning outcomes
At the completion of the course, students will be able to:
- understand the concepts of health and disease;
- assess negative and positive health/disease factors at the population group level;
- provide caring activities in the health prevention process;
- apply methodologies to implement health promotion programs;
- be able to design, organize and evaluate public health interventions in the community setting.
