Learning objectives
The aims are:
- to identify the risks connected to the handling of loads in the exercise of the profession of physiotherapist and implement the strategies aimed at limiting them;
- to know the physiology of movement (rachis, upper limbs, lower limbs);
- to know joint and muscle tests;
- postural hygiene;
- introduction of verbal and non-verbal communication aspects at the basis of counseling;
- guide to observation by providing a conceptual grid to define posture and physiological movement;
- experiencing different perceptions and actions in normal subjects;
- general introduction to rehabilitation activities, body and emotion evaluation of the spine;
- manual surface inspection;
- to recognize physiological responses to clinical use tests.

Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the Laboratory the student will have to know the normal motor control and the physiology that commands it, identify the characteristics of the setting in which the physiotherapist works, and learn the correct postures. He will also need to be able to perform a joint and muscle assessment. Finally, the student must be able to conduct a medical history.

Knowledge of the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system and biomechanics.
