Learning objectives
The course will provide students with a comprehensive overlook of the different phases that make up the management and development of human resources in both manufacturing and service organizations. Theoretical classes will be integrated with lectures from guest speakers working in cutting-edge organizations in human resources management.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will have acquired a first knowledge of the main areas composing human resources management, namely: personnel planning, recruitment and selection activities; employees' training and development; remuneration policies; industrial relations; internal communication; diversity management.

Course syllabus
The course of study in Human Resources Management will be focused on the different ways companies develop their people, taking into account the relationship between individuals, groups, and the organization.
The entire working life cycle will be the common thread of our analysis.
At first, we will identify and cluster the HR accountabilities in and around the Organization. Soon after we will study the main tasks of a "modern" HR Department such as:
· Staff planning
· Recruiting and selection
· The 3P model
· Internal Communication
· Training
· Compensation and benefits
· Trade Union Management
· Outplacement
· Diversity management
In all the above-mentioned points will be particularly stressed the connection between the employee and the organization.
