Learning objectives
The course aims to introduce to the study of musical and sonic practices in the Early Modern period. The perspective takes into account historical and anthropological studies, as well as the post-colonial approach.
The monographic topics of each year will be the occasion for analyzing specific case studies, in relation to their cultural contexts.

Expected learning outcomes
At the end, the students have acquired knowledge of the methods and perspectives of the discipline, with particular reference to the monographic topic introduced each academic year.
