Learning objectives
The course helps to refine the student's critical ability and stylistic sensitivity in reading the artistic artefact, with obvious reference to the history of Greek art, and lays a solid foundation for the subsequent knowledge of the historical development of art that in various periods draws life inspiration from Greek models and materials.
Expected learning outcomes
Main goal of the course is to provide students with a basic knowledge of Greek History of Art (ceramics, sculpture and architecture), starting from the 10th to the 1st Century BC and to give them critical tools for an autonomous stylistic reading of the Greek artefact within its chronological framework.
