Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with a detailed description of the anatomy and physiology of insects and their classification
Expected learning outcomes
Students will be able to understand the complex morphofunctional organization of insects and its adaptations according to the conditions of environment or ecological niches. Furthermore, they will acquire skills useful for the classification of insects

Teaching Resources
Textbooks:
- "Gli insetti e il loro controllo" a cura di F. Pennacchio, Liguori Editore
- "The Insects, structure and function" R.F. Chapman, Cambridge University Press
- "The Insects, an outline of entomology" P.J. Gullan e P.S. Cranston, Wiley-Blackwell.
