Learning objectives
The general objective is to illustrate the fundamental cellular, molecular and tissue principles at the basis of physiological and pathological processes and in pharmacology.
Expected learning outcomes
The student should acquire knowledge about the fundamental physiological processes and about their alterations in pathological conditions and of the principles governing pharmacology
Single course

This course can be attended as a single course.

Course syllabus and organization

Single session

Prerequisites for admission
Basic knowledge of cell biology and biochemistry, chemistry and physics. In addition, it is mandatory to have passed the course in Anatomy. Similar prerequisites are necessary for the Pharmacology course.
Assessment methods and Criteria
Each question has at least 4 different possible answer with one correct answer/question. The test is composed on a total of 30 questions chosen among a pool of more than 100. The. Minimal number of correct answers to pass the exam is 18. The test last 40 min and the results are communicated individually right after the exam or sent via email. During the course, interemediate tests will be provided that covers the arguments discussed during the lessons acoording to thye modality described above but with half of the questions.
