Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with the principles of cost-benefit analysis, in order to understand the financial and economic appraisal and evalutaion of publicly-funded projects.
Expected learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student will possess the theoretical basis and terminology of
cost benefit analysis for the evaluation of public projects.
The student will be able to understand the economic evaluation problems of public projects,
both through the reading and interpretation of graphical analyses, data tables and cost benefit
analysis reports of funded projects.
Furthermore, the student will be able to compute the main indicators used in cost benefit analysis.

The examination consists of questions and exercises similar to those seen in class.
