Learning objectives
To know the main diseases in obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics also at the light of multi-ethnicity.
To Identify the nursing needs of women and children, related to different health and disease status in the obstetric and gynecological, maternal-child and pediatric fields even at the light of multi-ethnicity.
To Inform and educate the woman and child for health.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will describe the etiopathogenetic and pathophysiological mechanisms of relevant pathologies in obstetrics-gynecology and pediatrics, signs and symptoms, and diagnostic and therapeutic indications.
The student will identify the needs of nursing care and describe the significant interventions for women and children related to different states of health and illness, in the obstetric, gynecological and pediatric field, also in the light of multi-ethnicity.

Having passed the exams of Anatomy and Human Physiology, General Nursing Sciences, Clinical Nursing Sciences 1 and Internship 1.
Assessment methods and Criteria

The evaluation of the written barrier test DOES NOT give rise to a mark, but only to admission to the oral test.
