Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with: - knowledge of the techniques for drafting legal documents, on the assumption that the basic elements have been acquired during the previous university career; - the ability to critically address the issues and resolve the legal issues underlying the cases that will be proposed, through the re-elaboration of the notions learned during the previous course of studies; - reinforcement of technical language and writing skills related to the subject; - the ability to connect the various topics in order to elaborate proposals to be used in the solution of cases
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the method to deal with the drafting of legal, judicial and extrajudicial, documents in the field of private law.

Prerequisites for admission
Students who have successfully passed the examinations of the first two years of the Master of Laws degree course and the Civil Procedural Law examination are admitted to the course.
Assessment methods and Criteria
At the end of each module, a written examination will be held, consisting of the drafting of an act of a similar type to those addressed during the course of the module.
The final mark will be awarded if all the tests relating to the three modules are passed; the mark will be expressed in thirtieths and, if applicable, honours and will be made up of the average of the marks obtained in the three tests.

Course syllabus
The first module is intended to accompany students during the preparation and drafting of the introduction of a civil trial concerning a case taken from practice.
Teaching methods
A case will be submitted to the students; the students will be divided into small groups and, with the assistance of the lecturer and tutors, the most appropriate defence document will be drafted, focusing both on the merits of the dispute, the procedural rules and drafting techniques.
Teaching Resources
The teaching material will be indicated during the course; it will consist of traces, documents or judgments, on the basis of which the participants' writings will be prepared.

The second module aims to provide students with techniques for dealing with the main acts in the conduct of a civil case

The third module will focus on the drafting of an extrajudicial act frequently used in practice (contracts, opinions, minutes, by-laws, etc.).
