Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with: - a depth knowledge of the institutions covered by the monographic course and to develop a refined understanding of the problems underlying the institutions covered.
- ability to apply the knowledge learned to complex specific cases, using the systematic tools of general procedural law theory and placing himself on the side of both the lawyer and the judge.
- capacity to develop argumentative and legally sustainable positions with regard to the issues of procedural law covered by the course.
- ability to present the acquired notions with logical coherence and language properties.
- command of the system of civil procedural law, which is the subject of the course, which allows to address also issues not examined during the course
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student, thanks to the study in depth of central themes of the civil procedural law, will acquire the ability to know how to orient himself with ease, critical sense and systematic approach in relation to general procedural problems and to identify original practical solutions

Course syllabus
The course, predominantly monographic and seminarial, wants to offer students the opportunity to deepen, from the point of view of both theory and practical application, some issues of civil procedural law: basicly the special proceedings under IV book of the Italian civil procedure code, the labour proceedings and the family proceedings recently adjourned by Cartabia Reform
Prerequisites for admission
Having passed Civil procedure, private law and constitutional law is a prerequisite for attending successfully advanced civil procedure.
Teaching methods
Learning activities consist of (a) lectures held by the teacher; (b) seminars on cases; (c) presentations of cases by students; (d) drafting of judicial submissions.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Examination will be oral, it will last ca 20 minutes and will assess the students' knowledge of the topics of the program, the extent of their comprehension and ability to extensively debate, the acquisition of an appropriate language, the ability of reprocessing from a critical perspective as well. Attending class will be positively valued.
