Learning objectives
- To acquire the basic principles of the use of radiographic techniques for the performance of diagnostic examinations of the thoraco-abdominal apparatus
- To acquire the theoretical and practical principles in cardiac and vascular ultrasound
- Knowing the diagnostic investigations for typical images of pathological
Expected learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the benchmarks of diagnostic imaging
- Optimal management of the equipment in order to obtain the best images to provide the specialist with a diagnostic report in compliance with quality standards
- Properly manage the production of images and their storage

Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam will be written. It will mainly consist of multiple choice questions with the addition of some open questions, in addition it will be possible, at the discretion of the teacher, to carry out an additional oral test.

The functional examination with echocardiography and Doppler (main projections and measurements).
Echocardiography in the critically ill.
Echocardiography in heart attack.
Valvulopathies: regurgitation, prolapse, stenosis.
Transesophageal echocardiogram.
CT and MRI of the heart and large arterial vessels.
Abdominal aorta and vena cava ultrasound.
