Learning objectives
- to learn the molecular and biochemical mechanisms underlying basic life processes and their metabolic correlates
- to learn organic functions with a particular emphasis on the nervous system, their dynamic integration and the general control mechanisms in physiological conditions
- to learn the fundamental functional parameters in healthy conditions.

- The knowledge of molecular, metabolic and biochemical mechanisms supporting physiological functions
- The knowledge of the general principles of brain functioning and of its integration with other organs in physiological conditions
